The concert on November 14, 2025 (warm-up) was—and Rémy and I agree on this—the BEST thing Rémy has ever experienced in his 58-year stage career.
The Freihof was filled to capacity, and there wasn't room to swing a cat.
Most of the guests had already arrived for dinner and were already impressed by the cuisine. At this point, a huge THANK YOU to Franco and his team at the Freihof restaurant. Within just two hours, his kitchen crew served over 60 meals. Without exception, all the guests felt comfortable and “at home.”
When the show finally started at 8 p.m., the sensational atmosphere never let up from the first note to the last (after three hours). The Freihof was a cauldron of excitement and simmered until the very end. Rémy and Friends® received compliments not only on their revamped repertoire and sound. The first comments such as “Worlds better than with the ‘old’ line-up” or “Far exceeded expectations” were heard. The new enthusiasm for playing carried everyone along and completely won them over. There was practically no song that wasn't sung along to or clapped along to. Again and again, individual band members received “spontaneous applause” after a solo performance (vocals and/or instrument).
CONCLUSION: It's just the way it is: “Only where it says Rémy on the label is there also Rémy and Friends® inside.”
The plan is to be back at the Freihof at the end of May 2026—outside.
